This women's mid-height hiking shoe sports durable construction, and waterproof protection with Gore-Tex membrane. Gore-Tex is the best waterproof material available because it is also breathable. The water resistant suede and polyester shapes around the foot not only to protect, but to lend support and comfort thanks to the soft, sturdy materials. For bumps into roots and rocks, Asolo added the TPU toe bumper so your boots will not wear out on the trail.
Asolo wanted this low priced hiking boot to have the same reliable traction as its other styles. The Landscape Gv has the Asolo-Vibram rubber outsole with Mega Grip compound, which offers excellent grip of every kind of terrain and every kind of weather condition. Now with that said, we recommend you do not parkour all over trees and boulders--stay safe and watch where you step. Between the sole and sole of your foot is a mono density EVA midsole for cushinoning and stability on uneven terrain. We love this boot and how easy it is on our wallets while promising a great hike.
