Timberland PRO’s steel toe wheat boot is packed with performance, featuring 400 grams of insulation for warmth and waterproofing on the upper to keep liquid out, be it water or solvents. The mesh inner lining and polyurethane footbed are both treated with antimicrobial agents so odor stays under control and bacteria is cut off before it even starts. Speaking of the footbed, the unique “open cell” honeycomb design permits flexibility underfoot so when you shift, the immediate padding against your sole shifts too within the secure, stable boot. The open cell footbed is removable and replaceable, and it packs a lot of comfort due to the material it is made of. Additional comfort is featured in Timberland PRO’s 8” wheat boot with the padded top collar and a shock diffusion plate between heel and balls of the foot. The plate adds stability so you are not twisting at the arch of the foot. This combined with the special lug pattern rubber sole allows the boot to grip on slick surfaces.
