The Dynaforce family of boots by Red Wing Shoe Company is built to absorb underfoot pressure and keep feet comfortable all day. The sole technology was developed by Red Wing and remains proprietary, made entirely in its Red Wing, Minnesota factory.

A new round of Dynaforce boots within the family builds on the tradition of comfort and pressure relief. The 4442 Dynaforce six-inch boot is a fully loaded workhorse. Built with waterproof weathered oak voyageur leather, the 4442’s shell offers premium durability and waterproof protection. Inside is a tricot and Carrera lining for comfort against the skin, and the whole upper is direct attach and welted to the sole. Lastly, 400 grams of 3M Thinsulate Ultra insulation lines the inside of the shoe to keep feet warm and cozy all day on shift.

For comfort, Red Wing packed a lot into the 4442 Dynaforce. The built-in Dynaforce insole provides overall stability, support, and comfort by redistributing underfoot pressure evenly across the foot. Between the insole and the foot is a ComfortForce footbed, which is removable. We end up selling upgrading a lot of competitor boots to this footbed because it is so durable thanks to the polyurethane build from heel to toe; the molded heel cup provides extra stability and absorbs shock.

For safety, Red Wing did not skimp. The steel toe safety cap meets safety hazard standards and the overall shoe meets electrical hazard standards. 4442’s Horizon DL Supersole has the best resistance to slips and gas, and better resistance to chemicals and abrasions. It is a non-marking sole with a solid heel counter that feels durable and stable.

The 4442 Dynaforce by Red Wing is ideal for long periods on your feet in tough work environments, made with a solid construction that is built to last. If you want a boot that is a little shorter, the exact same model is available in the 4404 Dynaforce six-inch version. An eight-inch plain toe can be found in the 1242 and a six-inch in the 1204, all available through Winterport Boot Shop.
