The 2403 BRNR XP has a premium, handcrafted waterproof leather that is triple-stitched with heel an toe overlays to reinforce against wear and tear. Underfoot, Red Wing developed a new removable footbed we call the Quadrex. The Quadrex sports four layers: a microfiber top layer, a memory foam midlayer, a polyurethane base for durability, and extra reinforcement in the molded arch and gel pad heel. Those last two elements enhance your heel strike when walking and the shoe flexes.

Red Wing keeps the 2403 BRNR XP safe and comfy through the safety toe cap. How? The company used its nano composite toe technology, which is extremely thin and lightweight because it is non-metallic. The Griptek outsole offers the best performance available from Red Wing. The sole resists slips, oil, gas, chemicals, abrasions, and heat. Talking about heat, the sole has been tested to endure up to 475 degrees Fahrenheit. Griptek soles are also non-marking.
