The 2244 is like the 2235 and 2240 but waterproof and insulated for colder temperatures. It's still at the top of the heap for its top cushioning soles, so it's exactly what you want to battle the concrete you stand on all day. The full grain cowhide leather gives flexibility and is lighter too. There is extra room in the toe and it's metal detector safe. It's a general purpose boot for just about any profession.
